Mountain Environment: Our cabin is located in the mountains, so cell service can be spotty and roads may be winding. Be prepared for steep inclines and descents, and consider a 4WD or AWD vehicle during snowy or icy weather. Wildlife Encounters: This is a natural habitat for local wildlife, including bears and other critters. Keep food and trash secured, and do not attempt to interact with or feed any animals. Starter Supplies: We provide a limited starter set of household essentials (e.g., paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc.). Plan on bringing any additional or specialty items you may need. Be Prepared: Depending on the length of your stay or the time of year, pack enough groceries, medication, and personal items, as the nearest store might be a drive away. Inclement weather, specially during the winter, may disrupt your ability to get in and out of the cabin. Power and internet may be lost.
